1. Who we are
Deep AI Consulting (“we”, “us”, “our”) is the data controller for the personal data described here. Based in Cambridge, United Kingdom. Contact us about your data at hello@deepaiconsultency.com. [If registered with the UK ICO, add your registration number here.]
2. What we collect
- Contact details you give us, such as your name, email, organisation, and anything you write when you enquire or book a discovery call.
- Booking details, when you schedule a call through our calendar provider (date, time, and the email you book with).
- Basic analytics data (e.g. pages viewed, approximate region, device type), only if you consent.
- Technical logs kept by our hosting provider (e.g. IP address) to keep the site secure and running.
3. Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To respond to your enquiry and arrange a call — lawful basis: consent and/or steps to enter a contract.
- To deliver services you engage us for — lawful basis: contract.
- To understand what works on the site — lawful basis: consent (analytics).
- To keep the site secure and running — lawful basis: legitimate interests.
4. Cookies & similar technologies
We keep this minimal:
- Essential storage — we remember your cookie choice so we don’t ask again. This doesn’t track you.
- Analytics (optional) — loaded only if you consent. Decline and no analytics or tracking cookies are set.
The booking calendar is embedded from Google; opening it may set cookies from Google under their own privacy terms.
5. Who we share it with
We don’t sell your data. We share it only with the providers that run this service for us, as processors: our hosting provider (Vercel), our email/calendar provider (Google), and our email marketing provider (MailerLite) where you’ve opted in. They process data on our instructions.
6. International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the UK/EEA. Where they do, appropriate safeguards (such as UK/EU standard contractual clauses) are in place to protect your data.
7. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and client data for as long as needed to help you and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, then delete or anonymise it. Marketing emails are kept while you’re subscribed. Analytics data is retained only in aggregate.
8. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to:
- access the data we hold about you;
- correct it if it’s wrong;
- delete it (“right to be forgotten”);
- restrict or object to how we use it;
- receive a copy in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time.
Email hello@deepaiconsultency.com to exercise any of these. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
9. Changes
If we change this notice, we’ll update the date at the top. Material changes will be made clear on the site.
